ICF Mentor Coaching Survey

ICF's working definition of mentor coaching is:

Mentor Coaching is a collaborative process that enhances a coach's proficiency for a specific credential level by drawing on learning theories, reflective practices, and emotional intelligence in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and values. Mentor coaches act as role models, prioritizing the modeling of ICF competencies and cultivating trust and partnership with their clients. Mentor coaching specifically focuses on coaching skills development rather than on practice building, life balance, or other topics beyond the development of coaching skills.

There are two versions of this survey.

Please select the appropriate option based upon the description provided:

Mentor coach survey - For mentor coaches with at least three clients and at least 10 hours of experience providing mentor coaching in the past three years.

Mentor coaching client survey - For coaches who do not meet the above criteria, but have received mentor coaching as a mentor coaching client in the past three years.

I have not participated in mentor coaching, either as a mentor coach or a mentor coaching client within the last three years.
